Many years ago, when I set out to attain post-secondary education in the United States, I reached out to the people of my village. Their generostiy helped pave the way towards the leadership and independence I have acheived today.

As I seek to spread the opportunities I have enjoyed to the girls of my village and of my country, I must once again reach out for help.

To the global community, I make this request: Join me to bring opportunity to hundreds of girls in Kenya- to fight human rights abuses like child marriage and female genital cutting, combat the cycle of poverty & empower women to take an active position in the community.

August 16, 2008 will mark the groundbreaking for the academy. Please support the Maasai girls of Kenya and help me build my dream.

• Complete the Construction of the Kakenya Center for Excellence School Building
• Pay for a Girl's annual school fees (including room & board)
• Provide school supplies & Quality Academic Texts to a School Classroom
• Employ Passionate Teachers & Administrators to Design & Implement a Quality School Curriculum
